MISSION 001

OUR GOAL IS TO ELIMINATE DISASTER SURPRISE THROUGH ACCURATE DATA AND IMMEDIATE NOTIFICATION

OUR STORY

Nulite Instrument Lighting Systems manufactures FAA PMA-approved aircraft instrument lighting solutions that modernize the cockpits of general aviation aircraft. Designed as a simple, cost-effective alternative to traditional post lights, Nulite's innovative halo-style lighting rings create the appearance of internally illuminated avionics while improving nighttime readability and reducing pilot fatigue. With more than 450,000 units installed since the company's inception, Nulite systems are available in both LED and lamp configurations, are backed by a lifetime warranty, and are trusted by aircraft owners and maintenance professionals for their reliability, ease of installation, and enhanced cockpit visibility.

In 2008, Nulite Instrument Lighting Systems expanded its commitment to aviation safety by launching the Emerging Lifesaving Technologies (ELT) product line, introducing advanced 406 MHz Emergency Locator Transmitters (ELTs) designed to significantly improve post-accident search and rescue operations. The ELT406 system automatically activates during an aircraft accident and transmits a powerful digitally encoded 406 MHz distress signal, including the aircraft's unique identification, and with GPS-embedded, precise latitude and longitude coordinates. This signal is received by the international Cospas-Sarsat satellite network, which relays the distress information to mission control centers and rescue coordination authorities, enabling emergency responders to rapidly identify and locate the aircraft—often within meters—regardless of terrain or weather conditions. By combining GPS technology with the globally recognized Cospas-Sarsat rescue network, Emerging Lifesaving Technologies has helped bring faster, more accurate, and more reliable emergency response capabilities to general aviation pilots worldwide

Following the devastating Texas floods of 2025, Emerging Lifesaving Technologies expanded its mission beyond aviation safety by applying decades of experience in mission-critical emergency communications to the protection of communities and first responders. Building upon the secure satellite communications infrastructure, 24/7 monitoring capabilities, and rapid notification systems already operating at its Texas facility for aviation emergency services, the company began researching and developing a next-generation civilian emergency warning platform. The initiative leverages existing resilient communications networks to continuously monitor environmental conditions and immediately disseminate life-saving alerts to government agencies, emergency management officials, first responders, and the public through multiple notification channels, providing earlier warning and faster situational awareness during floods and other natural disasters.
